How is there an imbalance of vaginal flora?
Some of the famous reasons are e.g. Recent use of antibiotics, use of tampons, strong monthly bleeding, aggressive intimacy hygiene or repeated application of antimycotics. Even if the exact cause is not always known, this balance should always be maintained, because it helps to prevent vaginal infections.

What are the symptoms of imbalance of vaginal flora?
The symptoms include itching, unpleasant odor, abnormal discharge, burning, complaints in the field of pelvic floor and irritation.

How can I restore the balance of the vaginal flora?
Each gynophilus® capsule contains:
- 341 mg freeze-dried culture LCR Regenerans®
- Auxiliaries: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, gelatin.
Lactobacillus Casei Rhamnosus Case Line, included in LCR Regenerans®, are bacteria that occur naturally in the scabbard and by reducing the pH value to maintain or restore healthy vaginal flora.

How do I use gynophilus?
Gynophilus® is a capsule that is introduced into the vagina. To facilitate insertion, the capsule should be moistened with water. After insertion, the capsule dissolves and releases the product. Gynophilus® is odorless and does not colute.

Application notes:
> 1 Intravaginal capsule twice a day at the beginning of treatment for a duration of 7 days. Gynophilus® is generally used:
- as a follow-up treatment according to local antibiotic or antifungal therapy;
- Together with an oral treatment (mostly antibiotics).

> 1 Intravaginal capsule once a day as maintenance therapy for a period of 14 days. The maintenance therapy can be repeated if necessary.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Gynophilus® must not be used in hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.
- Intercourse is still possible, but the simultaneous use of condoms, spermicides or latex diaphragms is not recommended because the use of gynophilus® may compromise the safety of condoms or latex diaphragms and inactivation of spermicides.
- If the capsule has not been motted properly before the application, residues could flow out (the use of panties is recommended).
