Application notes

Type of application?
Take in the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water). To facilitate the intake, you can open the capsule and only swallow the content. Drink plenty of liquid.

Duration of the application?
The duration of use depends on the type of complaints and/or the course of the disease. It should therefore be determined in consultation with your doctor.

Overdose?
There can be a variety of overdose symptoms, including nausea, bloody vomiting, stomach problems, diarrhea, sleepiness and circulatory collapse. Small children in particular are very vulnerable. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

Forgot to take it?
Continue the intake as normal at the next prescribed time (not with the double quantity).

Contradictions

What speaks against an application?

Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Anemia with iron recycling disorder, such as.:
- Sideroachrestic anemia
- Thalassemia
- Lead anemia
- Hemochromatosis (iron overload)
- hemolytic anemia (anemia due to shortened lifespan of the red blood cells)

Under certain circumstances - speak to your doctor or pharmacist:
- Gastric mucosal inflammation
- Ulcers in the digestive tract
- Inflammatory bowel diseases such as:
- Ulcerosa colitis
- Crohn's disease

Which age group must be observed?
- Children under the age of 6: The drug should generally not be used in this age group.

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: According to current knowledge, the drug has no harmful effects on the development of your child or birth.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is noe indications that the medicine must not be applied during breastfeeding.

If the medicine has been prescribed to you despite a counter -notification, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit can be higher than the risk of using the application.

Side effects

What adverse effects may occur?

- Gastrointestinal complaints, such as:
- Stomach pain
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Black coloring of the chair, which is harmless

- Caution with allergy against iron hydroxide sucrose!
- Beware of allergy to ascorbic acid (vitamin C)!

Već oko dvije godine uzimam kapsule željeza i s njima, uz dvije do tri infuzije željeza godišnje, prilično dobro kontroliram anemiju uzrokovanu nedostatkom željeza.Također jako dobro podnosim kapsule, što nije uvijek slučaj s dodacima željeza.
