1. What is Fenihydrocort Cream 0.5% and what is it used for?

Fenihydrocort Cream 0.5% is a synthetically made glucocorticoid (adrenal hormone) for use on the skin.
Field of use:
To relieve moderately pronounced inflammatory skin conditions.

2. What do you need before using Fenihydrocort Cream 0.5% NOTE?

Fenihydrocort Cream 0.5% must not be used,

• if you allergic (hypersensitive) to hydrocortisone or any of the other ingredients of Fenihydrocort cream 0.5% are,
• for certain skin diseases (eg syphillis, skin tuberculosis),
• in viral infections such as herpes simplex (painful bubbles on lips or genitals), herpes zoster (belt rose), Chickenpox,
• for vaccine reactions,
• with inflammatory redness of the face (Rosacea),
• with mushroom infestation (mycoses),
• for bacterial skin infections,
• at Acne Vulgaris and Steroidakne,
• on open wounds,
• on the mucous membranes,
• at skin inflammation in the mouth (perioral dermatitis),
• in the eye,
• during the first third of pregnancy (see section of pregnancy and lactation).

Take special care with Fenihydrocort Cream 0.5% is required:

• in case of skin infection due to bacteria or fungi. This must be treated separately.
• when applied to the face (especially in the field of eyes, in the case of a risk of increase in intraocular pressure),
• when applying in body folds (intertrigious areas),
• in the environment of skin ulcer (ulcer),
• in the genital and anal area.

3. How is Fenihydrocort Cream to apply 0.5?
