1.What are Carmol drops and what are they used for?

Carmol drops are a traditional medicine.

Application areas:
Carmol drops are traditionally applied to support the digestive function, for improving the removal of malaise. This information is based solely on tradition and many years of experience. If sick signs occur or unclear complaints, a doctor should be visited.

2.What should you consider before taking Carmol drop?

Carmol drops must not be taken if they are hypersensitive (allergic) to ANIS, cinnamon, perubalsam, anethol or one of the other ingredients of this medicine referred to in section 6. Carmol drops must not be taken if they suffer from the closure of the bile tract, gallbladder inflammation, liver disease, stomach and intestinal ulcers.

Warnings and Precautions:
Please talk to your doctor, pharmacist or medical personnel before taking Carmol drops. For gallstone disease only after consulting with a doctor. This medicine contains 65% by volume of alcohol.

Children and adolescents:
There are no sufficient investigations for applying children under 12 years. Therefore, taking Carmol drops for children under 12 years is not recommended.

When taking Carmol drops with other medicines:
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you take other medicines, recently taken or intend to take other medicines.

Taking Carmol drops along with food and beverages:
When taking Carmol drops together with food and beverages, no interactions are known.

Pregnancy and breast feeding period:
Because of insufficient investigations, Carmol drops should not be taken during pregnancy and lactation. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect to be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask before taking this medicine Ihren doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Driveion and use of machines:
In road traffic and the operation of machines, the reactivity can be impaired.

3.How are Carmol drops to take?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or just according to the consultation made with your doctor, pharmacist or medical personnel. Ask your doctor, pharmacist or medical personnel if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
Children over 12 years, adolescents from 15 years and adults 10 to 20 drops of Carmol, take up to 5 times a day, to sugar, hot tea or water. 1 g Carmoi drops correspond to 30 drops. The duration of the application is not limited in principle. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Carmol drops is too strong or too weak.

If you take a larger amount of Carmol drops than you should:
There are no harmful effects of overdosages so far. If you have considerably overdosed this medicine, you should consult with a doctor.

If you forget to take Carmol drops:
Do not take the double amount when you forget the previous taking.

If you stop taking Carmol drops:
There are no harmful effects to be expected if you cancel the use of Carmol drops.

Like all medicines, Carmol drops can have side effects that do not have to occur each other.

Significantly side effects or characters to which you should pay attention and measures if they are affected:
If you are affected by one of the side effects below, do not take Carmol drops further and look for your doctor as soon as possible. For sensitive persons, gastric problems can occur. In particular, because of the salary on cinnamon oil, allergic reactions to the skin and in the gastrointestinal area are possible. 5. What are Carmol drops to store?

The other ingredients are: ethanol 96% (VA /), purified water.
