1. What is Arthrex pain gel and what is it used for?

Arthrex pain gel contains with Diclofenac an active ingredient from the group of so-called non-steroidal anti-phlogistics / analgesics (inflammatory and pain inhibitors).

Arthrex pain gel is used for external supporting symptomatic treatment of pain in acute crushes, sprains or bruises in the field of extremities due to stumper traumas, z. B. sports violations. With complaints that last longer than 3 days, a doctor should be visited.

2. What do you need to consider pain gel before taking Arthrex?

Arthrex pain gel must not be used

• if it is hypersensitive (allergic) against the active ingredient diclofenac, acetylsalicylic acid, other non-steroidal anti-phlogistics (anti-inflammatory inhibitors) or any of the other ingredients of the basis, in particular isopropyl alcohol (Propane-2-ol), propylene glycol are
• on open injuries, inflammation or infections of the skin as well as eczema or on mucous membranes
• during pregnancy in the last third for a long time and large-scale
• in children and adolescents.

Take special care with the use of arthrex pain gel
Patients with hay fever, nasal mucosa thresholds (so-called. 3. How to take Arthrex pain gel?

Always use Arthrex pain gel exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose arthrex pain gel is to be thinly applied 3 times a day and evenly applied to the affected body region and easily rubbed. Depending on the size of the painful spot to be treated, an approx. 8 cm long gel strand (3 g corresponding to 0.03 g of Diclofenac sodium) necessary.
